Criticism, its everywhere. Noone wants to hear it because people wants to believe that they are doing it right. I mean, noone does things because they believe its wrong (besides villains in movies who are just “evil”, doing wrong things is just what they do)
When someone continues to make the same mistakes, you must wonder how they got here. What do they think about criticism & what role does it play in their life.
Because of the nature of criticism & peoples tendency to take it personally, its often mistaken as an insult and yes, some people see it as a way of bringing someone down. It is, however an essential part of continuous improvement.
Critique brings to focus areas which can be refined to make the overall better. Therefore for the critique to be effective, the critic must have a clear picture of what the overall is trying to achieve
So as the saying goes, before you critique (yourself included) walk a mile in their shoes. Perhaps hesitate before making rash judgments based on precedents. I don’t mean to critique the critics & would be foolish to try but something to think about.
For those who get captured in thought, scroll your attention down!
You start thinking about something, you recall your previous experience with this “something” you recall anyone’s experience with this something. Before you know it you’ve spent an afternoon thinking about why badgers don’t require toothbrushes.
To be fair, it could be part of a research paper or a potential social topic. For the sake of driving a point, I’m going to assume its not. (for the record I think the study of tree munching critters to be important)
As free thinking individuals its an concern that our thoughts lose touch with reality. For me its a daily concern & entertainment value for readers (depending on the drift). So consider this an excuse to socialize and to help clarify the importance of those thoughts.
I think if you gave the same site design specs to multiple designers you would notice sizeable differences in the way they implement them. So why does this happen you might you ask? (or not)
Designers tend has their own individual style, crafted from sources too numerous to name. While they can reach a general consensus on what constitutes “good design”, opinions will vary on the effectiveness of individual styles. Some styles are adopted mainstream, some become niche & the rest depreciate.
Does personality quirks create design quirks? (rhetorical question)
After much serious consideration, danspace returns. Everything here is experimental including unrelated thoughts, unexplainable designs & other erratic quirks. Simply there is no intended audience, so I deduce your viewing this is likely accidental (good intentions gone awry 
).
Because of its nature, I cant say this is an unique web “two point oh” site (at least not while keeping a straight face). I can’t guarantee its a unique experience.
The only think I know is, this is danspace. What that entails no-one knows
